You’ve Got Mail! SDG&E Launches Campaign to Better Serve Customers with Individual Needs

Did you recently get an email or a letter from us in the mail asking for updated contact information? Make sure you take the time to open and read through it!

These messages are part of an ongoing campaign to help the company find customers with access or functional needs who could benefit from extra support, programs, and resources. This includes before and during a Public Safety Power Shutoff.

Individuals with access and functional needs may include:

  • People with disabilities
  • People who use devices (medical and/or electronic) for their health and safety that need electricity
  • People who are blind or have low vision
  • People who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • People who prefer to speak a language other than English
  • People who may need help with transportation and/or who are dependent on public transit
  • Low-income households

This month and throughout the spring, customers may get an email with a link to an online form or a letter and form in the mail with a prepaid envelope to send their information back in. The letter is also available in many other languages.

Didn’t get an email or letter in the mail? You can still share your information and needs with us. Click here to fill out our quick and easy online webform.
