SDG&E and Challenged Athletes Foundation Host Region’s First Adaptive EV Ride & Drive

Liberty Station was packed with an active crowd on Saturday, July 30, 2022 as the Challenged Athletes Foundation and our team hosted an adaptive electric vehicle ride and drive. The first for the region, the event welcomed community members with functional and access needs to learn a new sport or try an EV. Hundreds of people visited community information booths, took part in adapted sports like sitting volleyball and wheelchair basketball, and test drove EVs – many for the first time! For both the Challenged Athletes Foundation and our company, making sports and electric transportation accessible is key to ensuring everyone in our diverse community can benefit from clean energy.
