Drive-Thru Wildfire Safety Fairs Helping Communities Prepare Ahead of Peak Wildfire Season

With wildfire season right around the corner, we are inviting Ramona and surrounding area community members to attend the first in a series of Drive-Thru Wildfire Safety Fairs taking place on Saturday, July 11 at the Ramona Outdoor Community Center in the Rodeo parking lot. At each of the Wildfire Fairs, attendees will have the opportunity to drive through and gather information from industry experts and receive free emergency kit backpacks filled with supplies. Inside the backpacks are medical-grade face masks, water pouches, bandages, flashlight, duct tape, toilet paper, rain poncho, whistle, light stick and other items.

Ramona’s event is the first of four scheduled Wildfire Safety Fairs organized by SDG&E to provide information about Public Safety Power Shutoffs and emergency preparedness.
