Our 2024 EV Fleet Day Showcased Electric Buses, Shuttles, Garbage Trucks and Truck Ride-Alongs

Our EV Fleet Day 2024 took center stage in the movement towards sustainable transportation as the event returned for its third year. The celebration, showcased the region's cleanest fleets, featuring plug-in electric big rigs, buses, shuttles, cargo vans, and other zero-emission commercial vehicles.

With forty medium- and heavy-duty vehicles on display, along with vendor exhibits and expert discussions,ev fleet day EV Fleet Day attracted over 1,000 fleet operators, EV manufacturers, environmental advocates, public utility and municipal agencies, and community residents. Attendees had the opportunity to climb into display vehicles, experiencing the new technology firsthand.

Miguel Romero, our Chief Commercial Officer, expressed the importance of supporting local businesses and public agencies as they transition to zero-emission fleets. "As local businesses and public agencies embark on the journey to transition to zero-emission fleets, aligning with California’s clean air and climate goals, they require comprehensive technical support and resources," Romero emphasized. "EV Fleet Day serves as a pivotal platform, uniting key stakeholders from across the region to exchange best practices in planning, deploying, and maintaining electric vehicles and the essential infrastructure to facilitate their operation."

Held at our headquarters in Kearny Mesa, EV Fleet Day also featured expert panels covering a range of topics, including transitioning to electricity for fleets, connecting to the electric grid, managing energy, and learning from fleet electrification case studies.

Another feature was the EV Truck Ride-along where dozens of attendees had the opportunity to ride as copilots and experience the quiet and fully electric heavy-duty trucks in display.

Our team worked on elevating its commitment to assisting local fleet operators in transitioning to sustainable transportation. Through programs like Power Your Drive for Fleets and the Transportation Electrification Advisory Services (TEAS), we help install charging infrastructure and provides advisory services for fleets wishing to transition to electric.

In addition, for businesses currently charging a fleet of EVs, we offer the EV-HP pricing plan, which eliminates demand charges and simplifies billing. Learn more here.
