The biggest FREE holiday festival in our region – December Nights – kicks off today at 3 p.m. We will be there to celebrate the season of bright lights and holiday cheers at Balboa Park along with hundreds of thousands of San Diegans.
As part of a time-honored tradition, energy-efficient LED lights – our annual gift to the city – will transform Balboa Park into a wonderland. As you wind your way through music and dance performances, food and craft booths, free museum exhibits, and other festivities, stop by our booth at Plaza De Panama.
Energy Savings Booth at December Nights
We will staff a booth on both days of the event with TechniArt to offer great deals on energy-efficient products. This year, TechniArt will have Nest smart thermostats you can purchase with a $75 instant rebate/discount, along with multi-colored and solid white LED holiday lights and a variety of other items, including night lights and power strips. The holiday lights will be sold at a discount price of $12 for a 24 ft. strand.
Our customer outreach team will be there to provide information about our programs. If you stop by, you can get some freebies - LED light-up rings and necklaces for the kids.
The hours for our booth are today, 2 p.m.-11 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 8, 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
